Freedom's voluntary warranty covers eligible manufacturing and material defects but generally does not cover damage caused by everyday use, accidents or improper care.
Common warranty exclusions include:
- Normal wear and tear, including natural softening of cushions, fabric pilling and stretching.
- Accidental damage, including scratches, stains, spills, tears and damage caused by pets.
- Environmental damage, including fading or deterioration caused by sunlight, moisture, excessive heat or humidity.
- Improper use or care, including incorrect assembly, misuse or failure to follow product care instructions.
- Unauthorised repairs or alterations made without Freedom's approval.
- Natural material characteristics, such as variations in timber grain, marble, stone and leather.
Other exclusions apply to products sold as seconds, floor stock or repaired items, and defects disclosed before purchase. Commercial or non-residential use is also excluded from the voluntary warranty.
Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 are separate from Freedom's voluntary warranty and remain unaffected by these exclusions.
If you believe your product has a fault, please submit a warranty claim so our team can assess it.
