At Freedom, we want you to feel confident in your purchase. Our products come with warranties covering manufacturing and material defects, with coverage varying by product.
Our warranty periods include:
- 20 years: Structural components of eligible upholstered furniture, including sofa frames and suspension systems (S20 Sofa Warranty).
- 15 years: Freedom Celestial and Orion mattresses.
- 10 years: Other mattresses, excluding sofa bed mattresses.
- 2 years: Furniture, including upholstery coverings, fillings, mechanisms and finishes.
- 1 year: Electrical and motion components, batteries and other products, unless otherwise specified.
Warranty periods begin from the date of purchase or delivery, as applicable.
What's not covered?
Our warranty generally excludes normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, improper care and natural variations in materials. Additional exclusions may apply.
How do I make a warranty claim?
If something isn't right with your product, please submit a warranty claim with your proof of purchase and photos of the issue. Our team will review your claim and advise on the next steps.
Your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) apply in addition to our warranty and are not limited by the warranty periods.
